Raul Perez brings endless laughs & energy to the audiences he performs for & the events he produces. Get to know his story.

By day Raul's teaching EMS for Emergency Healthcare Providers, by night, you can find him venting on stage anywhere comedy is happening in South Florida! From The PalmBeach, Dania & Miami Improv, to Boca Black Box, Just the Funny, Red Light, Blue Martini, Shindig, and many more. Raul also teaches Standup Comedy for the Miami Improv.

Born in NY in 1960 to Cuban parents, they moved to Miami in 1971 to escape the drugs, violence, and overcrowding... so we moved to Miami?!
Growing up, Raul watched George Carlin on Johnny Carson, hearing the call to comedy. After high school, Raul studied accounting, but accounting put him to sleep. He ended up working in nightclubs as a bartender and DJ. The environment was energic and a far cry from the accountant path he was on. The '80s were Awesome !!!

In 1990, Raul needed a "real career,” becoming a Firefighter and Paramedic; five years later, he became a Registered Nurse.
Thirty years into his real career, this son, husband, father of four, grandpa of two, and dog father of two feels fortunate and blessed. His life experience gave him countless memorable moments and endless material for his next step into standup comedy.

Raul is not one to sit around; started Stand Up comedy shortly after retiring. Comedy had been a passion for him since childhood, and he now spends his nights doing what he loves.
Today you can find Raul Perez performing and hosting up and down the South Florida East Coast and Comedy clubs.
